Position Title Lead Transportation Specialist

Summary of Primary Responsibilities Oversee the general supervision of transportation logistics for GSA leased vehicles. Develop/implement/monitor adherence to policies and procedures. Coordinate vehicle concerns and issues with all SPR employees as well as outside vendors and GSA. Communicate effectively with vendors and customers. Regularly maintain dispatch schedules. Liaison between GSA and FFPO/DOE on leased vehicle concerns. Develop/run/ analyze productivity and operational reports. Review of transportation payments; examines; analyzes; and settles unpaid bills and requests for reconsideration of disallowance or overcharge notices. Plan/develop and execute a vehicle replacement schedule Maintains accurate records of inspections, periodic maintenance and repairs of leased vehicles in accordance with company procedures and regulations. Prepare yearly reports; i.e., Federal Automotive Statistical Tool (FAST); OMB-11; Vehicle Requirement Data Sheets (VRDSs) Review/process purchases for supplies and services; monitor expenditure. Organize and assign vehicle repairs and maintenance to designated site employees. Facilitate and implement corrective actions to manage entire fleet to achieve company objectives Train and provide technical support and assistance to employees on use of SAP modules pertaining to GSA leased vehicles; and leased vehicle policies and procedures Ensure optimal vehicle usage by routinely performing audits on GSA vehicles by participating on the Organizational Assessment Team (OA) and Environmental and Pollution Team (E2P2). Strengthen working knowledge of GSA Fleet Management

Qualifications REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree and four years related experience in property or facilities management or HS diploma and 8 years experience in lieu of a degree. SAP knowledge and experience a plus. Good analytical, mathematical, written and oral communication skills are essential. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Candidate must be motivated and able to perform required duties with minimal supervision. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES: State Issued Driver’s License
